About the place: Fancy working in a place where guests really celebrate their holidays? At this holiday park in Hapert, everything revolves around relaxing, eating together, and enjoying. Families, regular guests, people from the area, and holidaymakers of all ages drop by for lunch, dinner, buffet, pizza, or a quick bite. You help make their day just that little bit more fun. You work at a large, lively location in the middle of nature. In the plaza, there are several catering establishments, including a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a pizzeria, and a snack bar. It can get quite busy here, but the atmosphere remains informal and Brabant-style cozy. No stiff service or distant interactions: guests come here to celebrate their holidays.

You will end up at a successful holiday park in Hapert, where many guests stay for several days and return regularly. As a result, you often see familiar faces. Despite the size of the location, the team feels personal and familiar. There is hard work, but also laughter together. After a shift, there is room to chat or have a nice drink with colleagues.

The role: As a seasonal catering employee, you are one of the faces of the catering at the park. You help guests in the restaurants and on the plaza, ensure tables are neat, and keep an overview during busy moments. You do not need to have catering experience yet. You will receive training and guidance, so that you learn how everything works step by step. More important is that you enjoy working with people and understand that guests come here for a great holiday.

What will you do?

  • You receive guests and help them in a hospitable, informal way.
  • You take orders and serve drinks and dishes.
  • You clear tables and ensure the place looks neat.
  • You help at the buffet, in the restaurant, or at other places within the plaza.
  • You work during busy moments, for example around lunch, dinner, or holiday peaks.
  • You make it a fun experience for the guests together with your colleagues.

Who are we looking for? You fit in well here if you like being around people and get energy from a lively working environment. Experience in catering is not required. However, it is nice if you are friendly, make contact easily, and enjoy helping guests. You do not have to address anyone formally with "u" if that does not fit the moment; the atmosphere is accessible, cozy, and personal. You are available for seasonal work from now until October. If it goes well on both sides, you can also continue working year-round.

What do we offer?

  • An hourly wage of €17.67 including holiday allowance and holiday days.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
  • 25% allowance on Sundays.
  • Work for 32 to 38 hours per week, with room to look together at what suits you.
  • Shifts from 12:00 to 21:00, 14:00 to 22:00, or 16:00 to 23:30.
  • Training and guidance, even if you have no catering experience.
  • Working at a busy holiday park in Hapert, in the middle of nature.
  • An informal working atmosphere with a cozy Brabant team.
  • The possibility to continue working in autumn or year-round after the season.

Interested? This is a role for someone who likes to work in a place where a lot is happening. You do not work quiet shifts, but stand right among holidaymakers, families, and regular guests who want to enjoy their day. Do you like to get things done, enjoy contact with people, and want to be part of a team where you fit in quickly? Then this could be a very nice place for you. Respond and let us know briefly when you are available. Then we will look together to see if this seasonal job in catering suits you. Contact details: Mathilde Adema (WhatsApp)

Good to know before applying

Although the job is located at a holiday park in Hapert, the recruiting city is Eindhoven. Hapert is situated about 25 kilometers west of Eindhoven. Commuting by car is highly recommended, and the employer offers a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer to cover this. For students based in Eindhoven, balancing these 32 to 38 weekly hours with a full-time university schedule might be challenging, making this seasonal role ideal for the summer holidays or those with flexible academic timetables.
